I will have to give the Bear Moon Bakery & Cafe a try the next time I am in Boerne. As far as the pie steam birds, again you stumped me. I had to look it up because I have never heard of them. I had no idea they were designed to keep the friut from bubbling over and help hold up the crust. You are just so full of wonderful insights! Keep them coming.
